Hypo’s aim as a mortgage lender is to improve the wellbeing and prosperity of our customers through home ownership.

Concrete climate change mitigation measures, such as energy efficiency projects and renovation projects to promote renewable energy sources are important to prevent climate change. Financing these mitigation projects are integral part of Hypo's business. 

Work related to double materiality analysis has started in Hypo and is progressing well. The Group will start applying the Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) for the financial year starting January 1, 2025.
